Demand for accommodation during the 2012 Olympics is likely to be enormous and rents are likely to rocket. Properties in and around the Olympic venues will be in particular demand, but also many properties in and around Essex, close to Train stations and local amenities will also prove popular. Many owners of such properties will be considering whether they can make a quick profit by letting their home. This has been seen with many major sporting tournaments e.g. Wimbledon.
